Admin: Withdrawing or Deleting a panel

Admins can delete and/or withdraw all Panels. This can be done from the Panels overview card. 

Step 1: Browse panels

First, set the filter on the submissions and panels overview card to Panels in the upper right-hand corner. Then click on Browse Panels in the bottom right-hand corner. 

Step 2: Locate the Panel

Locate the panel you wish to delete in the list. You can use the filters and search bar to narrow down the list. Alternatively, you can scroll through the list.

Step 2: Remove all Submissions from the Panel (required only if deleting the panel)

If you want to delete a panel, you must remove all submissions from it. The delete button will not be available if submissions are inside of the panel.

Panels can be withdrawn if they contain submissions. Withdrawing a panel automatically withdraws all of the panel contributions. 

To remove a submission from a panel, click on the submission title to open it. 

After opening a specific panel contribution, you can see the submission content. In the bottom left-hand corner, click on  Remove from Panel. 

*Only admins can remove a panel contribution from a panel. Panel organisers are not able to do this.

Confirm that you would really like to remove the submissions from a panel or cancel this action.

*All submissions will become Pending when removed from a panel. Authors can complete their work as an individual submission, or they may choose to withdraw it and submit to a different panel. 

Step 3: Withdraw or Delete the Panel

Click on the Panel you would like to delete. The panel will expand so you can view the key information inside and show additional options that you can take. You can click on Withdraw or Delete in the bottom right-hand corner. 

• Deleting a panel will remove all of the panel content from your platform. The delete option is only clickable if there are no submissions inside the panel. 
• If a panel is withdrawn, it remains visible on the platform but will not be included in the review and/or programme. 

Withdrawn panels can be reinserted, if needed.
